Every plan gets the whole API. All seven document types, webhooks, batches, recurring documents, custom templates, branding profiles and the audit log are on every plan including Free — the tiers differ by volume, by how fast you can call us, and by what we commit to. We don’t meter features.
The billable unit is a completed document render. API requests that do not render a document do not consume the monthly render allowance.
No. New accounts start on the Free plan.
No. An invoice, receipt, quote, credit note, purchase order, proforma or delivery note consumes the same render unit.
By default, renders past the cap return a 429 and stop — no surprise charges. Paid plans can opt into overage billing instead, which keeps rendering at a per-render rate you can see before you turn it on.
Yes, on any paid plan. Documents rendered on the Free plan carry a small “Generated by InvoicePDFs” footer credit — it is the only thing Free gives up.
